Starting New Blog

I had spend last 2 days on deciding what to blog about. After thinking a lot, I finally made a decision that it should be something to do with the activity which I like & comfortable with i.e. browsing the net. Browsing net is my hobby. Even after spending a whole day on computer at work, I make sure that I spend some time browsing net after I reach home.

Next I wanted a domain name which was unique. So the hunt for the domain name began. I was shocked to see that what ever junk word I typed (up to 6 letter word) in Google search would give some or other result. I wanted a name which would produce no search result. So finally I settled for sanzrao. This is just a short form for my name even though it was 7 letters word.

Now the decision was where to host my blog. Even though I have paid hosting ending 6 months from now I decided to go for blogger.com. The decision I took was because I believe & have seen the uptime of blogger.com more than the any other paid hosting. I next searched the internet for blogger templates and found this template (check the footer) suitable for my blog.

That’s it my blog was setup and was ready for posting. There were few widgets that I needed to add but I decided to do that later and decided to download Windows Live Writer Blog as an editor to start posting.

All set to go, I thought this post will be suitable post for starting my new post. This is how Internet Leashed commenced.
