Many a times we visit some unknown site by clicking on some links that comes in our email or on some advertisement. Beware these sites may be ready to download some malicious code on your computer as soon as you visit that site.
So what should be done before we browse such sites? Easy, just go to Googles diagnostic site http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=google.com. Replace google.com with the site that you are planning to visit e.g. if you are going to visit my website http://www.sanzrao.com and want to confirm it is safe just visit the site http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=sanzrao.com.
Many a time we use some third party plugins into WordPress theme. I use Unmask Parasites to check if the external references are safe too. It uses the same method to get the result but gives you option to check various external links safety too.
Just enter the site name that you want to check and you will see the result in next page as shown in screenshot below. Just click on “safe?” link on each external references to verify if those are safe as soon as you install the plugin.
